Trivex lenses

Trivex is a relatively new material. This material is also great for kids, people active in sports and for rimless frames. Trivex is a very lightweight material (~10% lighter that polycarbonate) has excellent optical quality and still blocks 100% UV light.

High Index lenses

Aspheric lenses

Aspheric lenses are made much flatter than traditional lenses, thus creating improved vision and a more attractive profile. Although great for all prescriptions that are best suited for far-sighted patients due to the thick center of a plus powered lens. Traditional plus powered lenses also cause an increase in size to the wearer’s eyes. Aspheric lenses greatly reduce this magnification, keeping the eyes closer to their original size.

Anti-Reflective Treatments

Anti-Reflective treatments drastically reduce glare for patients, creating a superior visual experience. A coating, similar to those found on microscopes and cameras, is bonded to the lenses allowing for this reduction in glare, reflections and haloes. This creates safer lens option especially when driving at night.

Progressive Addition Lenses

Progressive lenses, often called no-line bifocals, allow you to see clearly at all distances. These lenses are designed to people suffering from presbyopia. The most current progressive lenses are made with advanced technologies that allow for an increased visual experience and allows patients to adapt much easier than to traditional progressive lenses.

These lenses are often paired with an anti-reflective coating that contains a blue light filter to allow for even more comfortable visual performance. Our Doctors can customize this prescription for the exact distance that you sit at your computer.

Transitions lenses

Transitions lenses automatically adjust color by the levels of visible and UV light. Transitions brand lenses become nearly as dark as sunglasses and block 100% UVA and UVB. These lenses are highly recommended for children since 80% of sun exposure occurs before 18 years of age. Transitions lenses come in several colors, mirrors and in a variety of lens materials and designs.

Polarized lenses

Polarized lenses are a type of sunglasses that eliminate glare reflected from horizontal surfaces such as metal, glass and water. This allows your eyes to be more comfortable while driving, while on the water, or playing sports. Like Transitions lenses, polarized lenses also block 100% UVA and UVB
